Little Naches River - Washington State

The Little Naches River Beds are located North West of Yakima, Washington. This locality has 2 well known beds for collecting eggs, and has many more waiting to be discovered

Bed #1 is a wide spot in the road with a trailhead leading into the Forest. Follow this trail uphill about 1/4 Mile and the digs are every where.

Bed #2 is a roadcut locality. Typically these eggs are a conglomerate type formation, but dig through the talus material and you'll find loose eggs.

Little Naches Bed #1 - Not a terrible egg, then again not the best. Geologically speaking this egg went through hell. It's broke, cracked and re-glued itself. Interesting specimen to look at.
