This is great collectors item. This is a hand carved Mexican Rainbow Obsidian Butterfly. Great variation of color and pattern.

I also have another butterfly, star, and a flower carved from the same material

Here's a large Baker Egg - from Deming, New Mexico. This is a large double, however it only has clear Quartz filling. Took a fantastic Polish!

This isn't an egg - but rather a polished agate specimen. This agate comes from Private land I have permission to collect on. This has a polished face, but plenty of room to slab and cab if you desire. It has all sorts of goodies going on in the material, colors, dendrites, a few fractures and some pits.

Memorial day weekend of 2011 my friend Ed Pieters and I went to Richardsons and dug the Plume Bed. Never found any plume, but got this decent egg. Clear agate with a moss burst.

Years ago my buddy and I took a trip down to Crowley, Oregon (SE Oregon Desert). On our way into the area from the Crowley Ranch we took a walk and started finding tons of agates and egg like material. This was one I brought home. It's more of a specimen than a quality piece. Lots of matrix with little agate. What's neat though is you can see the outline of 2 Eggs entrapped within the larger host material. The exterior of this stone is very worn, most likely sitting in the desert for years untouched.

This is a Succor Creek Egg called Rolling Thunder. If I understand correctly the Rolling Thunder bed was or is a private claim in the area. The eggs are much better quality than the typical Succor Creeks you see on the market. Great Gray/Blue agate (my picture is a tad more blue than it really is), great fortification banding and of course a few fractures!
