Change of Plans - Feb. 10th, 2011 - Afraid I jumped ahead of myself. My original idea for this page was to re-type selected articles from late 1950's to 1970's Lapidary Journal Magazines. I decided before I got too carried away with the articles I had better send a preview of the article page along with a request for permission to Lapidary Journal for use of the articles and avoid a copyright issue and get sued. Today I got a reply and they denied my request to use thier old stories for your enjoyment. However they said it was completely OK for me to advertise and suggest to you folks to view their current magazine and inform your which issues has articles. If you like I can still do that, however the only way I know of on finding these will be from an old collector. The new Lapidary Journal Magazine has nothing to do with Rocks like the old issues. The new prints are directed only to Jewelry Arts. I actually dropped my subscription years ago! Sorry about that folks! I know you would have enjoyed it much! - Feel free to email Lapidary Journal and request them to be re-printed. I will however continue to provide links to various stories I can find for you!
